Group Term Life Insurance

Group Life Insurance for MN Townships

The Minnesota Association of Townships endorses over 4,500 township officers who are covered through the Township Group Term Life Insurance plan, which is administered by the Minnesota Benefit Association. This plan has proven itself by providing meaningful financial support at a critical time.

With four affordable Township Group Term Life plans available, there should be a plan that fulfills the needs of every township board member and their families. Coverage is guaranteed under these plans. Officers who are otherwise uninsurable, can now have peace of mind knowing the Township Group Term Life death benefit will help their families pay final expenses. Your coverage will continue following retirement.

Testimonials

“…so many decisions to make alone. At the time the township took out this group policy, I thought Lloyd would be old when he died. But little did I know he would be only 65 years old and board chairman when he died. I am still living on the farm so the money came in very handy. This was a nice ‘thank you’ for all the years Lloyd spent as a township officer.”

-Janice Noreen, Bray Township, Pennington County.

“My husband was a township officer for a second time at the time of his death. He served 15 years as Treasurer. He enjoyed being an officer; the three past years were a learning experience. I was not aware of this township group life program…it was very welcoming to our family at such a tragic time. I really think this program should be issued in every township in the state. We are very thankful to Adams Township for having this program.”

-Barbara Gilgenbach, Adams Township, Mower Courty
